I woke up this morning, looked at myself in the mirror, and said: TANK! ARE YOU READY FOR YOUR SECOND LOLLAPALOOZA EXPERIENCE?!?! And a voice from the heavens directed me to say yes, yes I am, me. I am ready for this excellent adventure, this bogus journey.
Ok, all that is bullshit, but I just bought tickets to this year's Lollapalooza in Chicago. Yes, Tickner and I are going to tear this shit up. While my first Lollapalooza was amazing (Incubus, Jurassic 5, The Donnas, Audioslave, Queens of the Stone Age, Jane's Addiction, yadda yadda), I think the second time around is gonna smoke that ass, if you know what I mean. I mean, I get to go with my fine-ass honey on a road trip to a big city and stay in a shitty hotel and eat pizza and everything. Oh yeah, and RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE REUNION!
Other than RATM, the shows we are excited for are Kanye West, Nine Inch Nails, Girl Talk, Blues Traveler (haha, Devin), Lupe Fiasco, Gnarls Barkley, and a ton of other amazing stuff.

I love Ann Arbor, I am there right now, I don't want to leave. I signed up to move in early, even if I have to move other people in on a little rolly cart I really don't care. I am ready to go, so hard. There is really nothing for me to do in Saginaw anymore, other than being with my family, which is important, but Ann Arbor is close too, and this is really where I want to be. I don't know, I'm excited.

21 days of school left, prom is next week, linear algebra is done tomorrow, I'm starting to be happy with my body and the way I look, I get to try to live up to Rob's MC standards for commencement, going to Europe in about a month, gonna live with Megan next (this) year crunk style up in RC (!!!!!), I started playing guitar again (terribly, and I don't have calluses anymore), I have sweet friends and I always seem to be able to find a car capable of driving to Ann Arbor without everything plastic inside it melting all to hell.

Everything I say makes me feel like an idiot. A lot of the time people look at me funny when I say stuff. I don't always say exactly what I'm trying to say, but I always try to be nice and I don't mean to say weird stuff. I feel stupid, I just want to go to college and start over.

I switched concentrations becuase I work at Dow in the morning and the only way I could get another English credit was to switch. I hate language arts. I don't write, and I have no interest in literature that I'm well, not interested in. I want to learn to write better, but I just can't take this. I thought Miller's 5-page reading guides were redundant... boy was I not even close. I'm not insulting the concentration at all, its just really really really not me at all. I thought I was going to loathe studying for SAT subject tests, but I love love love reading my chemistry prep book just because I miss it so much. It feels like I've been away from home for 2 months and I just wanna go home.

I started at Dow today, I work from 8 to 5 which will kinda suck for awhile until I'm used to it. The lab I work at is back in the woods. I got some steel-toed tennis shoes, they're pretty funny. I get paid, and don't have to go to school in the morning. I guess maybe people just feel sad when they start a new job sometimes.
Anyways, I gotta get up and go to work tomorrow :P

Yeah so I don't want to do research. I don't want to be a scientist. It makes me happy to think about that. I like saying it.
I like playing my French Horn. Band is the only class I enjoy anymore.
I'm still interested in pursuing medicine, though. I just don't want to be in a laboratory. I want to help people, and I know research helps people, but I think I'll let someone else do the research. I want immediate results without feeling like I have to follow all these standards that exist in the scientific community. I know I could interpret these standards to suit my needs, but I really don't care to. Or I could just be making that up. I don't want to be a scientist.
A doctor might be considered a scientist, but thats not what I mean. And I know that I still have lots of time to explore what I want to do with myself; this is just how I feel right now.

It's been awhile since I've updated, and too much has happened. Too much is happening right now, but good thing is I started on science fair early this year. By early, I mean not February.
Christmas was fun, New Year's was fun, Martin Luther King Day was fun, looking forward to Valentine's Day.
Thinking about a lot of things, trying to get all this stuff out of my system for good.
I guess it's like 1 pm so I should get up!

So I had my wisdom teeth out on Friday, good stuff, the procedure took 9 minutes. I don't really hurt, either.
Today William came over, and he rented Finding Nemo and brought me Nemo gummy candies and we went to dinner and I couldn't eat salad and he's really cute.

Ok so SVSU classes started this week. Calc was on Tuesday and is also tonight, and it's pretty excellent. The professor is a cute little old guy, who kinda reminds me of Bernie from Boston Legal.
Y ayer fue la clase de espanol. La profesora no hablo nada ingles, asi yo no puedo escribir sobre la clase en ingles! Hay solo tres chicos en la clase, y muchas chicas. Y hay una chica que es la sobrina de Tim Allen. Ay de mi! Despues de la clase, Megan y yo divertimos con Remy, Pascal, y Rob. Comimos tapas y postres a Bennigans.
SASA starts tuesday, which really doesn't matter right now. AP Chem and APES in the afternoon, 2 free periods, band, lit, and gov/econ. Not in that order! They wouldn't let me have 8 classes. Whatever!

Ok, so I'm really into dark blue lately. I bought like a billion dark blue shirts. Seriously. Also, I learned that Charlotte Russe is a kind of dessert, it's like custard and lady fingers or something. Kinda funny, I thought it was a woman's name.
The other day I bought an N64 for 37 bucks just so I could play Ocarina of Time. I beat it, right, and now I feel like I want my 37 bucks back. So I can buy more dark blue shirts. I was gonna try to find all the Gold Skulltullas but Will told me what the last prize is and it's really shitty. Renewable 200 rupees? So not worth it at all. I'm really pumped for the new game coming out, Twilight Princess, can't wait. Legend of Zelda is so fun.
And, I've been extra moody lately. Sorrrrry.

Uhhhh today... sucked. But it was ok, I like to look on the bright side of things I guess.
Left for Ann Arbor at about 11, first went to get Devin and then we were off because he told me no one else wanted to go. So we get to about Birch Run and Martha calls and wants to go, cause, Devin didn't call her or something. So we drove back and picked her up too, cause it wasn't that far away. I also picked up a cheeseburger. Uh, so we got all the way to Ann Arbor and went to my favorite parking structure (what do they pave those with, it's not cement) and the hood of my car is uh.. smoking. And we were like, why does the parking structure smell like a dumpster. So my car is pissing antifreeze and the hood is smoking. But I totally didn't cry you guys, we got it towed and sat in this place called Jourdan's on State (if you're in Ann Arbor with car troubles, go there, they're total sweethearts) for about 3 hours, playing with stupid cast iron puzzles or whatever. So the guy tells us that my car sucks and needs new cooling fans or whatever, and so its 9000 bucks to get my car back.
But, the bright side is that I didn't know what I was gonna do tomorrow, and now I have something to do. Go get my car back ;; Also my buddies were with me and we had a fun time in the auto mechanics place. We went to Mongolian BBQ (the mechanic, Bob, gave us a ride back downtown, which was totally sweet; he also gave us free tie-dyed shirts) and it was delicious. Another sunny thing is that William gets back in less than 2 days and I haven't seen him in about 103 days and we get to hang out forever (or I hope so).
The only bad thing: I don't have 380 bucks and I feel bad that my pops is paying for it. Also, I'm totally afraid to drive my car now.
